Custom Classes
We offer classes for up to 8 adults during our regular open hours (12-6).
In this 3 hour class you will learn the basics of how to work with glass and tiles. You do all the design part of the mosaic and leave the messy (but also fun) part of cementing and grouting for us. Our standard class mosaic is a 6” square that can become a wallhanging, garden stone or trivet and is $135 per person.
If you are hoping for a larger group or with younger artists we recommend reserving time at the studio during non-open hours. Please see our Groups and Events page for details.
Please contact us if you are interested in setting up a Custom Class. We typically schedule our custom classes on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays or Saturdays, starting at either 12:30 or 2:00 but we can be flexible depending on staffing and other scheduled commitments.
Some info we will need to create a custom class for you:
- Please call or email us with a few dates that might work for you.
- Full names of each participant. Pre-registration ($25/person) is required for all participants, non-refundable.
- Project choices planned in advance for each student. Our standard 6″ square project which can become a trivet, wallhanging or garden stone is our most popular and successful class project but let us know if you have other desires. Please see our Mosaic Kits as possible options. The class is 3 hours so often the smaller options are more successful.
